| My bellydance teacher has taken an extended maternity leave from the City of Phoenix Parks and Rec's department. When they asked her for a recommendation she said, "If you want the students to have fun, be happy and have a positive teacher, then Tiffany is the ONLY person I recommend to you." And so....I got the job!! So if anyone out there lives in North Phoenix and wants to take a beginning bellydance class with the City of Phoenix I am teaching at the Beuf Goelette Community center at 35th ave and pinnacle peak. My classes are Wednesday nights from 7:30 to 8:45 and they start July 15th. This 4 week session is $20. HOORAY FOR BELLY DANCE JOBS!
On another front, Ed and I are totally officially trying to have a baby now. It has been a fun and exciting new sexual discovery for us as we are each others firsts and we have never had sex without a condom. | | I am on a couple of bellydance forums and one of the topics came up that I have always wondered, "why take on an arabic name?" There were the typical answers of sounding more exotic and the like, but then a couple of dancers made some really good points. It boils down to stalkers. They told stories of using their real name at shows and retaurants and then people stakling them, finding out where they live, etc.... So I did it, I took on a stage name. Haniyyah. | | Hey all my friends, just wanted to let you know that I am moving!!! Ed and I found apartments that are SIGNIFICANTLY nicer than ours with more space and CHEAPER rent!!!! It is up near where Master Dennis, Mistress Bonnie and Kia live off of Carefree Hwy and I-17. My aparments are only a mile away from Sir and Ma'am's house so it will make it so we get more quality time together. It also puts me about 15 miles closer to work which is also helpful because I should put as few miles and wear and tear on my beast of a car as I can. | I thought I would take a minute to give you all an update.....because I don't see alot of you very often.
First off, I will be 26 in 6 days. WOO HOO!!!!
Slave Kia and I have been really super busy lately working on and preparing for SWLC. Her and I head up registration so the past few months has been a whirlwind of activity. I have been working dillegently streamlining the process. It is something I am good at. I spend a fair bit of time working within my Fire District streamlining policies and procedures.....I get a great deal of joy out of that.
Speaking of work, my career life as an administrator could not be any better. I work with great people, in a great area with great pay. In our economy I am very very lucky. I have job security for a year at a time so that helps ease my troubles a great deal. I really enjoy my work and find it very rewarding and fufilling.....10 years ago I would have never thought I would be doing THIS.
This upcoming February Ed and I have been a couple for 8 years! Since we were 18 years old! We have been friends since we were 14 and BEST friends since 18 and married since 22. He still is my best best BEST friend to this day. We hardly fight or argue (maybe once or twice a year) we both put the others needs above our own and we can make each other laugh so hard we cry.....I am so very very lucky!
As of this past December I have been collared to Sir and Ma'am for 3 years. It has been a 3 years of ups and downs and changes but in the end we are all still happy in our commitment to each other. My service has morphed from a more in home personal service, to a lifestyle focused type service and it is still very fufilling. Sir and Ma'am are the perfect Masters for me because they allow me the freedom that I need as an adult my age to make big life decisions without me worrying that I am "failing" them somehow.
Belly dancing is going fabulous as I am sure you all know. I am working harder than ever. It is an all consuming passion of mine. It occupies my thoughts a good portion of days. I love all the different kinds of bellydance and hope to become proficient in as many as possible. I am concurrently taking a beginning tribal class and my intermediate cabaret as well as my private lessons and teaching a basic class once a month at APEX.....needless to say I spent much of my free time dancing. I am trying to get as much in as I can in the next three years or so because...........................................
ED AND I HAVE DECIDED TO BREED!!!! Yup be shocked for those of you that have always heard me say I will never have children....I lied! laughs. We aren't looking to have them for another three years or so, but we are doing the planning now. First we need to get a house. Then once we are settled a baby. Ed and I are going to work our finances so that we can live on one income and Ed is gonna be a stay at home Daddy.
Well.......there is an update for you. Below is a video of my belly dance teacher Melissa! Enjoy her and all her hotness!!

| In case any of you are interested I am starting a once a month Belly dance Class at APEX. It is the 1st Tuesday of the month and is $3. It starts at 7:15 and we will end in between 830 and 9. You have either be a member of APEX or be with a group that has reciprocity (ie. TNG)

| Over the past 6 months Ed and I have aquired a friend whom we have grown quite close to. We spend a lot of time together and over time he and I have grown quite close. I have taken on many responsibilities in his life, by choice, and I have found this unique opportunity to serve very rewarding. I serve him, yet I am not in service to him in the way that is traditionally perceived.......there is no commitment to the service, I just do it out of choice and love. He knows OF the lifestyle, but he is not involved. Through the development of our relationship he has coined a "label" for me......a way in which to explain to people while I am NOT his girlfriend, I may do girlfriendy type stuff. He calls me his Pepper Potts and yes I do occasionally take out the trash.
I really enjoy this nickname and what it implies to me......and excellent and well organized Personal Assistant who has no problem tell her Mr. Stark when he is being douche bag. | Following suit of a couple of my friends post.
It is not gays vs straights. It is acceptance vs fear. Marriage is not something that needs to be "protected" I believe marriage is sacred, and I don't think if my two gay friends get married that it is going to make my marriage any less sacred. If fact I know lots of gay people who would make their marriage more sacred than the two 18 year old kids who elope. I don't think the fact that you are straight makes marriage sacred, I think the PEOPLE IN THE RELATIONSHIP make it sacred, regardless of gender.
